Betaout which is a platform of customer intelligence and marketing automation has succeeded in raising $1.5 Million in its Funding pre-Series A.
The platform was launched in October 2014 and it will use these funds for acquisition of customers in the market of India and have plans to expand it to other Asian regions. It will also use funds for hiring professionals in fields of technology, marketing as well as account management. It will also focus on the development of its mobile offerings and improving the various features of its platform like machine learning, conversation commerce etc.
According to the CEO, this funding round arranged by the well-known and reputed names in the community of investors, has given them strength to pursue the objectives of their business with clear focus. This has become essential due to the fast growing pace of the e-commerce and B2C market in India. Their plans for the 2016 include the growth of their existing base of customers in the market of India as well as expansion to other markets of Asia such as Indonesia and Malaysia.
